The Clearview Regional School District has once again earned a spot on the National Association for Music Merchants list of the best communities for music education. This marks the eighth year in a row that the district has received this recognition. The honor highlights schools that show strong support for music programs, including access to instruments, qualified teachers, and funding for classes.
District officials said the award reflects the hard work of students, teachers, and the community. Music programs in Clearview include band, choir, and orchestra, as well as general music classes. Students have opportunities to perform at school events and competitions. The district also offers lessons for a variety of instruments.
The NAMM foundation gives the award each year to districts that meet high standards for music education. Clearview has been on the list since 2017. School leaders say they plan to keep growing the program and giving students more chances to learn music. Parents and local residents have also supported the program through fundraisers and volunteer work. The district hopes to continue this streak and inspire more students to take part in music.
