The district has announced the promotion of a Greenwich High School graduate and former special education teacher to the role of special education coordinator. This new position will officially begin on December 16.
The newly appointed coordinator brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students with special needs. Having worked directly with students in the classroom, she has developed strong relationships with both students and their families, which will be invaluable in her new role.
In her capacity as coordinator, she will be responsible for overseeing the special education programs within the district, ensuring that all students receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically and socially. Her commitment to fostering an inclusive environment is expected to enhance the educational experience for all students, particularly those requiring additional assistance.
The district looks forward to her leadership and the positive impact she is anticipated to make in the lives of students and staff alike.
